Voice to MIDI bot
Reedom ❤ Ableton
A few weeks ago we published a blogpost about Reedom: a bot you can use to play instruments with your voice. You send a voice message to the bot, the bot plays it back with a musical instrument.
Following the feedbacks we received on HN, we added a new feature. You can now export your audio tracks as MIDI files. This allows you to edit and play your tracks using your favorite digital audio workstation or sequencer (Ableton Live, Logic Pro, GarageBand…).
Here you have an example voice track.
And here you have a rockish version of the track — converted to MIDI by Reedom, and synthetized using Ableton.
We hope this enhancement will make Reedom of some use for musicians.
Reedom is just a prototype, but it’s a fun project and we love having people using it 🙂.
